Strengthening Family Violence Regional Integration

The Family Violence Principal Strategic Advisors (PSAs) for Victoria’s Family Violence Regional Integration Committees (FVRICs) and Domestic Violence Victoria (DV Vic) are pleased to share Strengthening Family Violence Regional Integration – A Monitoring, Research and Evaluation Framework for Family Violence Regional Integration Committees (FVRICs), now available on The Lookout website.

This initiative, delivered by The University of Melbourne in partnership with The Family Violence PSAs for Victoria’s FVRICs, is designed to increase evidence-informed decision making by the 14 FVRIC across Victoria, leading to more coordinated responses to family violence, improved safety for victim survivors and increased perpetrator accountability.

This framework has been developed by a team from the Department of Social Work, University of Melbourne in collaboration with the 14 FVRICs through a project named RICKIE (Regional Integration Committee Key Information and Evidence) during 2019-20, with support from DV Vic, the peak body for Specialist Family Violence Services in Victoria. Family Safety Victoria, established in July 2017 to deliver family violence reform and drive action to end family violence, also provided input to the project.
